Man firing at Turkish Embassy in Moscow turns out to be Armenian: Moskovskiy Kosmolets

YEREVAN, AUGUST 18, ARMENPRESS. The man, who targeted and fired at the Turkish emblem at the Embassy of Turkey in Moscow, turned out to be Armenian - 43-year-old Arthur Mirzoyan, reports “Armenpress”, in reference to “Moskovskiy Kosmolets”. Arthur Mirzoyan, the General Manager of "Dobriy Les" company, shot twice at the Turkish emblem, both times hitting the target.

After being arrested, Mirzoyan did not specify the reasons for his action. But according to the police, the reason is the long-standing feud between the Armenian and Turkish nations, which has further aggravated as a result of the recent escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
