YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, ARMENPRESS. The Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Artak Zakaryan responded to the statement issued by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan. As reports “Armenpress”, the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Artak Zakaryan posted a note on this on facebook, which particularly runs as follows:

“The so-called Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, affected (even more afraid, I guess) by the words of our country’s President, issued a “heroic” statement to encourage themselves and naturally scare us, and, among other things, to “disgrace” us before the international community.

The Azerbaijanis have a proverb, which fits their current authorities greatly. They say ‘A palace from outside, a hen house from inside’. In fact, the residents of Ilham Aliyev’ military palace–hen house have a quite opposite perception about all the universal values. All the peoples of the world call heroes those individuals, who struggle for their country’s freedom and independence and protect their motherland and people from the attacks of the enemy and massacres. But it’s the criminals, who are praised as heroes in Azerbaijan. All the world calls individual, who kills a sleeping man with an axe a criminal, but Azerbaijan calls the murderer a national hero. There is only one explanation for this. A nomad can have no idea what Motherland and Hero are.”
