YEREVAN, AUGUST 1, ARMENPRESS. The Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic introduced material evidences of another failed subversive act initiated by the Azerbaijani side on July 31. As reports “Armenpress”, the press release issued by the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic particularly runs as follows: “Responding our statements released on July 31, the Azerbaijani side came forth with categorical denial of the assault. In response to the abovementioned and in addition to our statements, we introduce some part of the material evidences confiscated from the Azerbaijani group, which carried out the attack.”

The rival attacked military positions of one of the military units located in the northern direction of the line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing armies on July 31.

The Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed “Armenpress” that facing with an organized resistance of the military position’s personnel, the rival was thrown back to the primary positions suffering numerous losses.

Unfortunately, two serviceman of the Karabakh Defense Army were killed in the result of the operation. An investigation has been launched to reveal the details of the incident.
