STEPANAKERT, JULY 31, ARMENPRESS. The territory, which was attacked by the enemy on July 31, is completely under the control of the military units of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. “Armenpress” was informed about this from the Press Service of the NKR Defense Ministry.

Earlier it was reported, that the rival attacked military positions of one of the military units located in the northern direction of the line of contact of the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing armies on July 31. Facing an organized resistance of the military position’s personnel, the rival was thrown back to the primary positions suffering numerous losses. Unfortunately, two serviceman of the Karabakh Defense Army - Ararat V. Khanoyan and Ashot A. Asoyan, born in 1994, were killed in the result of the operation.

The Defense Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic shares the bitter grief of loss and expresses its support to A. Khanoyan’s and A. Asoyan’s family, relatives, and fellow servicemen.
