Sanctions against Russia don't make Armenian businessmen to worry yet

YEREVAN, JULY 31, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian businessmen continue to work in normal manner and sanctions applied against Russia do not make them to worry yet. The Head of Manufacturers and Businessmen (Employers) Union of Armenia Arsen Ghazaryan stated this during the conversation with journalists held after the session of the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Talking about how the sanctions might affect the two companies operating in the Russian "Gazprom" and local representations of VTB, Ghazaryan said that however they have Russian owners, but they are registered in Armenia and impact of sanctions will not be direct. As “Armenpress” reports, among other things, Arsen Ghazaryan emphasized: “They are separate legal entities that operate within our legislation, so sanctions formally do not apply to them. Our businessmen do not have a reason to worry. They continue to work and implement their plans as ussually.”
