Alexander Amaryan criticized U.S. State Department report

YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. The U.S. Department of State has not conducted studies in the Republic of Armenia. In a conversation with “Armenpress” this was said by Alexander Amaryan, Head of the Center for Rehabilitation and Assistance to Victims of Destructive Cults, referring to the annual report issued by the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor on “international religious freedom”,

"All the data in this report are given by our "human rights activists" who are engaged in “grant-eating”. Besides, in the Republic of Armenia no religious institution can restrict its activities because there is no law, neither suppressor. Religious institutions in Armenia operate in "state in state" principle," said Amaryan.
