YEREVAN, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS. The rival did not stop firing in the direction of the Armenian positions during the night of July 29 as well. In a conversation with “Armenpress”, the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artzrun Hovhannisyan stated that during the last three days the rival keeps violating the ceasefire regime and opens fire in the direction of the Armenian soldiers with bullets of various diameters. Among other things, the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artzrun Hovhannisyan noted: “The number of shots has been reduced a little in the night of July 29. Notwithstanding, generally speaking one cannot call the situation on the border calm. The Armenian soldiers’ response silenced the rival.” In addition, the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artzrun Hovhannisyan highlighted that the Armenian soldiers respond only to a regular fire and snipers.”
