YEREVAN, JULY 25, ARMENPRESS. President Serzh Sargsyan sent a telegram of condolence to the Arevshatyan family on the occasion of the demise of the famous Armenologist, philosopher, Academician of the Armenian National Academy of Sciences Sen Arevshatyan.

As "Armenpress" was informed from the Department of Public Relations and Mass Media of the President's Office, the telegram reads: "Sen Arevshatyan made a significant contribution to the study of history and chronology of the Armenian philosophical thought. Under his leadership Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran passed a long way of development and enrichment. The patriot scientist due to his scientific and public activities has deserved great reputation not only among his colleagues, but also in the whole society.

I express my deepest condolences to Sen Arevshatyan’s family, colleagues and relatives."
