YEREVAN, JULY 24, ARMENPRESS. This year singer Sona Rubenyan, who represents Armenia on “New Wave ” international contest of young pop singers, on the first day of the competition on July 23, performed Miley Cyrus’s “Wrecking Ball” song and got 67 points. Our delegate performed under the number 10. On the first day of “Worldwide hits” all participants presented songs to the public, which became hit and loved by the whole world. Armenian audience had opportunity to watch the concert on “Shant” TV by interpretation Erik and Varduhi Aleksanyan.

As “Armenpress” reports, the first part of the evening, which was held in “Dzintari” concert hall, was conducted by Maxim Galkin, who gave exiting moments to the audience with his jokes. Singer Timur Rodriges on the first day of the competition performed Pharrell Williams’s worldwide hit “Happy”song.
