YEREVAN, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. The export and import volumes of Asian countries increased in Armenia’s foreign trade circulation.  In the first half of 2014 the volume of export from Armenia to Asia amounted 216 million 26 thousand U.S dollars, whereas that rate for the last year at the same period amounted 166 million 547 thousand dollars. The volume of import from Asia grew and amounted 670 million 197 thousand dollars, while last year the volume of imports was 623 million 794 thousand dollars.

As “Armenpress” reports, according to the data released by the Customs Service of the Republic of Armenia, during the first 6 months of this year, the volumet of trade circulation with CIS countries and the European Union has palpably been reduced. Particularly the volume of export to CIS countries amounted 155 million 606 thousand dollars instead of 171 million 909 thousand dollars of last year in the same period.
