European Archery Championship kicks off in Armenia
21:23, 21 July 2014YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS. Armenia hosted the European Archery Championship. President of the International Archery Federation Uğur Erdener and President of the European Archery Association Mario Scarzella announced that they are satisfied with the level of organization of the European Championship.
The Presidents of the Federations told about this during the solemn opening ceremony of the Championship in Armavir region, which was attended by President Serzh Sargsyan.
"All of the participants of the European Championship are happy to have the opportunity to meet each other in Armenia and compete for tournament prizes," said Erdener, welcoming the participants and guests.
About 300 athletes and 450 guests from 38 countries are participating in the tournament, including the Turkish and Azerbaijani delegates.
