YEREVAN, JULY 11, ARMENPRESS. The enemy again violated the ceasefire regime and opened fire in the direction of Chinari and Aygedzor villages of Tavush region for about 30 minutes. In his interview with “Armenpress” the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan said that the Armenian Armed Forces responded to the enemy's shots, and now the situation in the border is calm again.

"Armenpress" learned from Chinari and Aygedzor residents that mainly the roofs were damaged in the villages. In Chinari, windows of some houses were broken, several bullets punctured the kitchen of one of the houses near the border.

The villagers told us that the enemy mainly shot from DShK in the direction of settlements. They also asserted that the shooting stopped, but the residents are not going to come out to the streets yet.
