James Warlick considers status quo increasingly dangerous

YEREVAN, JULY 8, ARMENPRESS. The OSCE Minsk Group American Co-chair James Warlick will meet with the Co-chairs representing Russia and France to discuss next steps on Nagorno-Karabakh peace. “The status quo is increasingly dangerous”, posted James Warlick on his twitter microblog.

On June 24, in an exclusive interview to “Armenpress”, he expressed the hope that in the near future it will be possible to arrange a meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to continue the constructive dialogue they had in Vienna last November. "I look forward to continuing discussions of the negotiations, as soon as possible, in the region or elsewhere, although the schedule of our future meetings is not yet specified. Hopefully the presidents will accept French President Francois Hollande’s invitation to meet in Paris soon. Swiss President Burkhalter’s call for "constructive dialogue" is another chance to bring the peace process forward" - said the Co-chair.
