Armenpress introduces the statement of Sergey Lavrov. “Our relations with Armenia are based on the strategic partnership. They are grounded on the centuries-old tradition of friendship, good neighborly relations of mutual aid. In that we see favorable conditions for the development and regional stability of our countries.
Today we discussed a variety of arrangements, which were acquired during the official visit of the Russian President to Yerevan in 2013 and at the course of the meeting between the Presidents of our two countries held within the frames of CSTO events on May 8.
We coordinated our steps in bilateral channels in terms of the memory events both within the frames of CIS and CSTO which relate to the First World War and the Great Patriotic War anniversaries. Russia and Armenia should actively participate in those events”.
