YEREVAN, JUNE 18, ARMENPRESS. “The Golden Voice of Italy”, popular singer Robertino Loreti has canceled the June 19 concert in Karabakh. Only one day remaining to the concert, Robertino Loreti’s representative told the organizer of the concert, Director of Cadence music centre Nika Babayan that the singer does not feel ok and he was taken to the hospital with sharp attacks. In a conversation with “Armenpress”, Nika Babayan underscored: “It’s interesting that Lortei’s piano player Fabrizio Masci, who also was to be present at the concert, was also taken to the hospital on the same day. This shows that it’s not about health, but something much more serious, something the Azerbaijani media has been discussing for two days.”

“It’s not excluded that Azerbaijan promised a much bigger sum of money to prevent Robertino Loreti’s visit,” she said. In addition, Babayan noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan applied to the Azerbaijani Embassy to Italy to get in touch with the singer and prevent Loreti’s visit by putting some pressure.

Previously it was reported that the charity concert by prominent Italian singer Robertino Loreti would be held on June 19 in the House of Culture of Karabakh’s capital Stepanakert. Robertino Loreti was to pay a visit to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic with his piano player Fabrizio Masci and his 12-year old student Felix Karamyan.
