International youth exchange program to reveal youth's primary issues

YEREVAN, APRIL 25, ARMENPRESS. In the frame of EU “Youth in Action” Program, World Armenian Youth Network is implementing “We Can, We Will” Youth Exchange on April 21-May 1. In a conversation with “Armenpress”, the Secretary of WostAYN Astghik Avetisyan stated that unemployment is among the primary issues the youth has to face with.

World Armenian Youth Network (WostAYN) NGO in cooperation with Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia (FYCA) and other partner organizations in the frame of EU “Youth in Action” Program is implementing “We Can, We Will” Youth Exchange  on April 21-May 1. In the frame of the project has got together 40 participants from 6 countries: Armenia, Georgia, Romania, Italy, Germany and Latvia. The aim of the project is to struggle against youth unemployment. During these 10 days participants will share the situation that exists in their countries. Meanwhile participants will get such knowledge that will help to solve the problem of unemployment.  

During the project participants will learn how to write CV, Motivation Letter also how to be competitive candidate for job vacation.  “We Can, We Will” project will give an opportunity to meet different young entrepreneurs and get acquainted with their stories. Beside this, during the project by different workshops, activities and games participants will understand the importance of Active Citizenship and Youth Work, because this can also be a solution for the problem of unemployment.

During those days participants will presents their cultures, traditions, traditional foods and drinks…

As a result of the project participants will create a handbook, which will be available also for those who didn't participate to the project.
