YEREVAN, APRIL 23, ARMENPRESS: Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received the delegation led by the Minister of National Defense of Lithuania Juozas Olekas.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the guest and attached importance to the high–leveled mutual visits, which as the President assures, significantly contribute to the development of bilateral relations. The interlocutors highlighted that both the Armenian and the Lithuanian sides have a wish to strengthen friendship and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.

The President of Armenia and the Minister of National Defense of Lithuania discussed the agenda of the Armenian-Lithuanian cooperation in the area of defense. They highly appreciated the current level of the mutual cooperation between the Defense Departments of the two countries and outlined further development prospects of cooperation.
