YEREVAN, APRIL 23, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian community of Ukraine in various parts of the country will mark the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with a number of commemoration events. As reports "Armenpress", referring to AnalitikaUA.net, the head of the Ukrainian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Grigoris Buniatian said, that on April 24, in all the Armenian churches of Ukraine requiem will be served in the memory of the victims of the Genocide.

In Crimea it is also scheduled to hold a series of events to commemorate the 99th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. On April 23, at 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and in Simferopol in the building of the Armenian community of Crimea a charity event will take place, on which blood will be donated by the participants to be sent to Syria, which will save the lives of the local Armenians.

On April 24, at 11:00 a.m., the Armenian Church of Simferopol will host a memorial service and a commemoration ceremony for the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

In 2005, the Supreme Rada of Crimea officially recognized April 24 as a day of mourning.
