YEREVAN, APRIL 22, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian National Committee of America-San Gabriel Valley will host the annual Armenian Genocide Rally and Vigil on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Armenian Genocide Martyrs Monument in Bicknell Park, 901 Via San Clemente, Montebello, CA 90640. “Armenpress” reports about this citing Asbarez.

The speakers for the event will be Father Vazken Movsesian and Dr. Levon Marashlian. The event will also feature musical performances by Orange County band, green KARD. Student groups from the Mesrobian Armenian School and the AYF Vahan Cardashian chapter will also be participating in the program.

The ANCA-SGV would like to invite all community members to join in commemorating the Armenian Genocide and paying respect to the victims who lost their lives in the atrocities. “It is imperative that we come together every year to remember and reflect, but to also agree to take collective action in ensuring that the rights of Armenians are recognized” stated ANCA-SGV Chairman, Viken Pakradouni.
