YEREVAN, APRIL 18, ARMENPRESS. Three new companies are trying to enter the Armenian aviation market and carry out regular air flights. Parallel to this, the companies that traditionally carry out flights in the Armenian aviation market will increase the number of flights and their destinations. In a conversation with “Armenpress”, this was informed by the Head of Air Traffic Control Department of the General Department of the Civil Aviation under the Government of the Republic of Armenia – Hrant Mirzoyan. "Since March 30, summer navigation season has started, for  which we have already received bids from three companies, the permission is given, now we deal with the document arrangements. “Etihad” Airlines wants to accomplish Abu Dhabi - Yerevan - Abu Dhabi flights, “Kish Air” company has applied for Tehran -Yerevan -Tehran direction , while the Tatar “Ak Bars” for  Kazan – Yerevan –Kazan”, said Hrant Mirzoyan, noting that there are air-companies that have started to fly to new destinations, for example , "Ural Airlines" in Yerevan -Moscow direction.
