U.S. President's April 24 announcement will be tough: John Heffern

As reports "Armenpress", this was announced by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern to the journalists at the briefing, on April 21, at the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute conference hall, at the opening of the temporary exhibition entitled "The First World War: allies, characters, massacres". "Secretary of State Kerry and President Obama are well aware of these events. There will be a very tough statement, admitting the fact that 1.5 million Armenians were massacred, but as to what words the President will use in his statement, I cannot say instead of him", clarified the diplomat.
Speaking about the exhibition, he mentioned that the work led by the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute and its director Hayk Demoyan, helps to educate people: "This is the reason, why I'm here, this is his efforts to inform and educate people", added U.S. Ambassador.
