Liturgy in Rome dedicated to the memory of Armenian Genocide victims

ROME, APRIL 18, ARMENPRESS. An April 24, the remembrance day of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, the Armenians of Rome will commemorate the 99th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, honoring the memory of 1.5 million Armenian martyrs. That day holy liturgy in the memory of the victims of the Genocide will be served at Rome's St. Nicholas of Tolentino Church, after which a wreath will be put at the cross-stone erected in the yard.

As reports “Armenpress”, the Inspector of the Armenian seminary in Rome  George Noradungyan made an appeal to the Armenians in Rome: "April 24 has a special meaning to us and marks the most tragic page in our history: Our wounds are still open, as the authors of that crime continue to deny it”, mentioned Noradungyane, inviting everyone to participate in the event and pay tribute to the memory of the Genocide victims, asking the Lord for justice and peace in the world.
