YEREVAN, APRIL 15, ARMENPRESS. The acting Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan on April 15 received the delegation led by the OSCE acting Chairman Special Representative on South Caucasus issues Angelo Gnedinger. The Head of the Staff of the Diaspora Ministry of the Republic of Armenia Firdus Zakaryan and the Chairwoman of “Center Coordinating Syrian-Armenian Problems” public organization Lena Halajyan attended the meeting.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that at the course of the meeting the acting Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan introduced the position and fulfilled programs of Armenia’s authorities towards the solution to the issues of Armenians who moved to Armenia because of the civil war in Syria. In particular, the Minister reacted on amendments in the legal acts in the areas of education, healthcare, business made by the initiative of the Ministry of Diaspora for the aim of supporting to the Syrian-Armenians. Hranush Hakobyan also reacted on work activities towards providing them with jobs and accommodations.
