YEREVAN, APRIL 13, ARMENPRESS: The Republican Party of Armenia, as a political majority is ready to cooperate with the PPA and ARF. This announcement was made today by the Spokesperson  of the Republican Party Eduard Sharmazanov during the meeting with journalists after the sessions of the Board and Executive Body of the RPA: “We are ready to include them in the government, but they should realize that in this case should bear full or partial responsibility," – said Sharmazanov.

He said that if these parties decide to join the coalition, then in this case they should bear full or partial responsibility: “But there is also another variant: they will have their own representative in the government, being not a coalition member, and will bear responsibility only for a specific sphere,” – said Sharmazanov.

The government will be formed in 20 days, and party and PPA and ARF have time for discussions and then to announce their position. Mr. Sharmazanov said that during the political consultations the political majority has discussed the programs, submitted by two political forces, but now he does not want to open any brackets: “We are ready to include in future government the representatives of other political forces, taking into consideration their programs, but I cannot say anything definite at this moment. If I do not exclude the possibility that they will be join the coalition, I cannot exclude the possibility that they will not join the coalition,” – said Sharmazanov.

Mr. Sharmazanov highlighted the fact that changes are expected in the government and advised to wait for another 20 days, after which the full composition of the government will be announced.

President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan named Hovik Abrahamyan as the Prime Minister candidate of the RA during the session of the Executive Body of the RPA. Then during the session of Board of RPA the candidacy for the position of the RA Prime Minister was approved.
