Turkey’s reaction shows modernity of Armenian Genocide international recognition: Shavarsh Kocharyan

Such a reaction by the Turkish side upon the formula accepted yesterday by the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide shows once again that the international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide is important and urgent in the international society fight for the prevention of new crimes against humanity. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Shavarsh Kocharyan stated this commenting on the observation of Times.am News Website that reacting upon the formula accepted yesterday by the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee on the recognition of the Armenian Genocide, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey made a statement on the basis of distorting facts and suspicious arguments.
