Turkey sets war and instability in Syria to annihilate Armenians again: Talal Khreis

YEREVAN, MARCH 31, ARMENPRESS:  Turkey sets war and bloodshed with the help of Al-Nusra front extremists to annihilate the Armenians again and desecrate their cemeteries and churches. The government of Erdogan continues the persecutions against the Armenians. The terrorists, supported by Turkey, destroy and desecrate the Armenian churches and cemeteries of the village-town of Kessab in Syria. Besides, a record number of journalists are in jails in the NATO member country. The secretary general of the Italian-Arab center Assadakah Talal Khreis states about it in the article, prepared for Armenpress.
“The actions of the Turkish dictator Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan were not a surprise for none of the journalists, as he restricts the fundamental freedoms of speech and opinion within the country, leaving no room for the propaganda of other parties. The long-lasting pressure and imprisonments towards the journalists are on the highest level in Turkey. Just see what is happening in Syria, where the terrorists, supported by the new Ottomans, destruct the churches and kill the Christians and where the massacres of the Armenians continue. The massacres, which started with the slaughter of 1915 and continues up to the murders of the peaceful population of the Syria’s Kessab town-village”, - says the author.
The Italian-Arabic Assadakah center urged the Government of Italy to meet the Ambassadors of Azerbaijan and Turkey to Italy and expressed its protest against the anti-Armenian policy conducted by those countries. On that demand Assadakah center sent letters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Federica Mogherini, member of the lower house of the Italian parliament Fabrizio Chiquito, senator Pier Ferdinando Casini and leader of the European Commission’s representation in Italy Lucco Batisttot.
