YEREVAN, MARCH 27, ARMENPRESS: Today, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received NATO Partnership Subcommittee delegation of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Political Commission.

The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the President’s staff of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that the President of the Republic of Armenia welcomed the guests in our country noting that such visits are a good opportunity to get acquainted with Armenia’s challenges and concerns, as well as to discuss issues of mutual interest related to the regional developments.

Serzh Sargsyan stressed the importance of cooperation with NATO on the Parliamentary level, which, according to the President, is the important part of Armenia’s relations with the Alliance. The interlocutors reacted with satisfaction that in NATO Parliamentary Assembly  the delegation of the National Assembly has an active participation in the work activities of different committees, as well as other important events, such as for example series of “Rose Roth” seminars.

The President of the Republic highly appreciated the efficient and constructive cooperation established with the North-Atlantic Alliance in all the areas of the partnership.
