YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS. The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Armen Sarkissian handed his credentials over to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on March 5 at the Buckingham Palace. The Press, Information, and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia informed “Armenpress” that Alistair Harrison, Marshal of Diplomatic Corps, and Simon Fraser, Permanent Under-Secretary of the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office, also were present at the ceremony. The Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Armen Sarkissian had a friendly conversation with Her Majesty following the handing of the credentials.
