Pension reforms to interlace Armenians’ future to their land: President

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 15, ARMENPRESS: The Republic of Armenia implements very important reforms, which are vital for the society. They are to considerably reduce the strategic uncertainties the country faces. The President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan told at the 10th congress of the “Yerkrapah” Volunteers Union on February 15 that the pension system reforms have quite a significant importance in this sense. They are directed to the well-being of the new generations. “Believe that these reforms will tightly tie the citizen to his country. These reforms help to interlace the Armenians’ future to their land. Though the implementation of these reforms requires belief towards the future of the country, trust towards the state and persistence to build the future here, next to compatriots”, - said Serzh Sargsyan, Armenpress reports.

According to him, only with the generations’ solidarity and cooperation it is possible to carry out crucial reforms in the country. “Only this way we can overcome the well-known challenges and win the rival, which is next to us, with us and sometimes in our thoughts and soul. The state should help those, who cannot help themselves. It should help and give the opportunity to help. The state should assist the young to have that help in the future. The state, if you want, should provide anybody with some “time machine” to lend a helping hand to himself in the future. The new pension system is such a time machine, which we should get to function today”, - said the Armenia’s President.
