YEREVAN, DECEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s gas agreements signing with the Russian side for 30 years date had one simple reason. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan stated this at the course of this year’s final press conference convoked on December 27, “Armenpress” reports. He noted that the sector is regulated and the conversation with the investors is held within 30-35 years in regulated sectors. The level of profitability of those companies will be conditioned by the mode of action of the  authorities of the Republic of Armenia how property tax and profit  will be 10 , 20 , 30 years later,  what environmental norms will be defined within 30 years,” he added.

The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on December 23 voted in favor of the ratification of the Armenian-Russian agreements signed in Yerevan on December 2.The following agreements were introduced to ratification: “Cooperation between the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation upon  the areas of the delivery of  gas, petroleum products and natural rough diamonds of the Republic of Armenia”, “Establishment of price during the delivery  of the natural gas of the Republic of Armenia between the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation ” and  “Sale and purchase of the shares of “ArmRosgazprom” Closed Joint-Stock Company and the conditions of further activities between the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation”.
