YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. The issue of the Stepanakert Airport exploitation must not be subjected to political speculations, which we witness in Azerbaijan in their most aggressive form. As reports “Armenpress” the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan stated this at the course of the session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, answering the question put forward by the Deputy from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun) fraction Aghvan Vardanyan. Among other things the Prime Minister underscored: “The issue of the Stepanakert Airport is among the most significant issues of our agenda. It’s of a certain importance to be able to keep that issue away from various political speculations, which are aggressively implemented by Azerbaijan. We are determined to reach this goal without additional tensions.”

In addition the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan touched upon the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and noted that the Armenian side has no new information regarding the negotiations, which can be assessed as optimistic. Also, the Prime Minister emphasized that the goal of the upcoming meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan is to provide the continuance of the negotiating process.
