YEREVAN, OCTOBER 17, ARMENPRESS: The letter of the Armenian writer and publicist Zori Balayan, addressed to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, only states the entire historical truth and presents the current situation related to the Nagorno Karabakh Republic. The deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Mkrtich Minasyan stated about it at the press conference. “The Russian state historically has some commitment and authority towards the Artsakh people and this is described by Zori Balayan in the letter. The other side of the issue is that some of us do not understand correctly and cannot adapt to the content of the letter”, - said Mkrtich Minasyan, Armenpress reports.

The deputy of the Republican Party of Armenia faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia considers the accusations addressed to the letter irrelevant. “We have to read the letter once more and understand the content. I think that Balayan could explain and tell why some layers of the society understood him wrong”, - said Mkrtich Minasyan, adding that there will be no response to the letter by the Russian side.
