Armenian and Turkish youth search for cooperation ways

CHIȘINĂU, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS: The graduate of the Hacettepe State University of Ankara Utku Ozturk is certain that the implementation of the joint programs by the young people of Armenia and Turkey will contribute to the development of the cooperation between the two countries in different fields. In the framework of the International Training course “Move it!” the Armenpress correspondent was reported by the 25-year-old young man that the initialization of the programs promoting the cooperation is a necessity.

“It is not a secret that the relations between Armenia and Turkey are not so good. We could initiate some new idea – festivals or other programs – to provide for the cooperation between the young people”, - clarified Utku Ozturk. According to him, notwithstanding the historical problems between the two countries, they concern the political figures in the first place.

The trainings are attended by the representatives of Moldova, Armenia, Spain, Ukraine, Latvia, Greece, Turkey and Romania.

International Training course “Move it!” will be held in Costeşti, the Republic of Moldova and aims at developing competencies of youth leaders and youth workers for inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities into the youth projects within the EU “Youth in Action” program, promoting tolerance towards cultural diversity as common value on the local, national and international levels and prevention of exclusion. Armenia is also represented in the event.
