Armenian representative of Junior Eurovision 2013 to be known on September 27

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS: The election of the Armenia’s representative of the Junior Eurovision 2013 Song Contest will be held on September 27 at 21:30 on the First Channel live. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the First Channel, the creative group of the Junior Eurovision 2013 Song Contest has got 82 applications. 12 of them will be presented for the qualifying stage.

Armenia might be represented at the Junior Eurovision 2013 Song Contest by Mari Vardanyan (10, Vardenis), Michael Varosyan (10, Yerevan), David Vardanyan (11, Stepanakert), Erna Mirzoyan (15, Stepanakert), Petros Ghazaryan (12, Yerevan), Karen Ughuryan (12, Yerevan), Karen Ohanyan (12, Yerevan), Karapet Karapetyan (13, Yerevan), Gayane Ghazaryan (13, Yerevan), Milena Ghazaryan (13, Yerevan), Roza Kostandyan (13, Vanadzor), Monika Avanesyan (15, Yerevan) and Michael Simonyan (12, Ijevan).

This year the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine. It'll be the 11th edition of the contest and the second time it'll be hosted in Kyiv. This year the first, the second and the third horizontals will be awarded. The winner of the contest will be provided with the opportunity to participate in the Eurovision 2014 Song Contest to be held in Copenhagen.
