YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS: All administrative districts in Yerevan during two years will have chess schools. About this mentioned mayor of Yerevan taron Margaryan during opening ceremony of chess school in Davitashen administrative district. “Society is greatly interested in chess and our policy is to have chess scholl ine ach administrative district. Already for six months together with Chess Academy we have formed the program and cooperate,” he said, reports “Armenpress”.

The mayor accompanied by director of chess academy grandmaster Smbat Lputyan walked around the newly opened school, got acquainted with its conditions. 48 children will we taught to play chess in the school.

Coordinator of newly opened chess school Liparit Tepoyan is sure that chess is a mix of science, arts and sport and regardless of the success achieved by future alumnus the school is a necessity. The classes will be held beginning from September.

In words of director of chess adademy Smbat Lputyan more than 100 000 children in Armenia attend chess classes. “By playing chess in school children begin to show interest towards it and want to continue chess career. Such schools have the aim to satisfy their wish,” said Smbat Lputyan.

Mayor Taron Margaryan also visited Achapniak administrative district where also is formed chess school. Following the construction process mayor gave order to pay permanent attention the control of the quality of the work and finish the construction according to the schedule.
