Shirak F.C. accepts Dynamo Arena's apologies

GYUMRI, JUNE 20, ARMENRPESS. Shirak F.C. accepted apologies offered by the officials of Tbilisi's Dynamo Arena Stadium regarding the accident, which followed "Shirak" – "Dynamo" friendly match. In a conversation with "Armenpress" the Press Spokeswoman of Shirak F.C. Anna Tadevosyan stated that the Armenian side is hopeful that "Dynamo" will spare no effort to prevent the reoccurrence of such accidents. Among other things Anna Tadevosyan stated: "The ballot for the 2nd stage of champions' qualifiers will be held in Switzerland on June 24 and Dynamo is among of Shirak's possible opponents. Both Dynamo and Shirak must do their best to prevent the reoccurrence of such accidents."

Previously, the Press Secretary of the Georgian "Dynamo" FC has officially expressed regret for the accident, which followed the friendly match with "Shirak". In a conversation with "Armenpress" the Press Secretary of "Dynamo Arena" Stadium Mamuka Kvaratskhelia stated: "Not only the football club, but also the fans, journalists, and everybody are sorry for the accident." In addition Mamuka Kvaratskhelia highlighted that the Armenians and Georgians are friends and such accidents should not occur during any game they take part in. Among other things the Press Secretary underlined that the fans of both sides must be united and attract one's attention for cheering their favorite teams. Also he stressed: "At the sport matches all the controversies must take place on the field alone and never get out of the competition area." Notwithstanding, Mamuka Kvaratskhelia noted that he is hopeful that the supporters of the Armenian team will approach with understanding that sad accident and offered apologies in his own name.
