YEREVAN, JUNE 18, ARMENPRESS: By the initiative of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia and Terre d` Armenie Organization, the day, dedicated to the Armenia’s tourism and the Artsakh presentation, was organized in the framework of the “French-Armenian Excellency Week” events program, held on June 18 in the French city of Marseilles, during which a show representing the Gegharkunik and Lori Marzes was demonstrated. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Press and Public Relations of the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, the event was attended by the Governor of the Gegharkunik Marz Rafik Grigoryan, the Governor of the Lori Marz Arthur Nalbandyan, the Mayor of the city of Spitak Gagik Sahakyan and the Representative of Artsakh in France Hovhannes Gevorgyan.

In the framework of the event the exhibition fair of the donated paintings of the Lebanese Armenian artist Movses Herkelyan and Armenian painters is held, which will be open by June 23. The entire profit from the sale of the paintings will be directed to the fund for construction of a new district for the Syrian Armenians. A film on Artsakh was screened as well.

In the evening in the framework of the “French-Armenian Excellency Week” events program the concert of the French-Armenian Union of Youth (JAF) will be held.
