Stamp dedicated to cognac production in Armenia put into circulation

YEREVAN, JUNE 18, ARMENPRESS. The stamp dedicated to the cognac production in Armenia has been put into circulation on June 18. There is a cup of cognac depicted on the stamp, along with a basket full of grapes and an ancient sculpture of two men dressed in royal garments and holding the cup of brandy in their hands. The author of the stamp is Vahagn Mkrtchyan. The stamp was published in Cartor publishing house in France. The aforesaid stamp values AMD 300. In a conversation with "Armenpress" the Head of International Relations and Philately Department of Haypost CJSC Anna Ghukasyan stated that the stamp series dedicated to the Armenian alphabet continues. "We remain loyal to the topic of the traditional arts by introducing popular Armenian productions," Anna Ghukasyan underscored.
Among other things the Head of International Relations and Philately Department of Haypost CJSC Anna Ghukasyan noted that a new stamp series dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide has already been approved and soon will be put into circulation.
