Armen Gevorgyan and Henri Reynaud discussed organizational issues of Armenian-French Second Conference

YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS: Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan hosted French Ambassador to Armenia Henri Reynaud.

As Armenpress was informed from informational and public relations department of the Ministry of Territorial Administration, organizational issues of upcoming Armenian-French Second Conference had been touched on at the meeting.

The conference, which is scheduled to be held in French Valence city, is aimed at the deepening of decentralized cooperation in different spheres.

Deputy Prime Minister has highlighted that decentralized cooperation with France is of crucial importance for Armenia.

Sides reached an agreement to create a working group for the organization of the conference.

On Ambassador’s request Armen Gevorgyan presented already implemented and upcoming reforms in local self-government and territorial management systems.
