Minister of Finance promised to offer settlement to Buzand Street dwellers’ issue in early July

YEREVAN, MAY 24, ARMENPRESS:The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia David Sargsyan met with the dwellers of the Buzand Street of Yerevan on May 24. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Finance, during the meeting the citizens were told that the intergovernmental commission, established by the decree of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan, makes all the necessary steps to settle the problems of the citizens. The concrete suggestions will be made to the Buzand Street dwellers in the early July 2013.

On April 4 the Government of the Republic of Armenia instructed the intergovernmental commission to submit corresponding offers on the abovementioned issue.

Parallel to the yesterday’s session of the Republican Party of Armenia, the dwellers of the Buzand Street held a protest action demanding to return their apartments or suggest an alternative solution.
