Darijo Srna: Mkhitaryan is important player for Shakhtar

YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS: The captain of the Shakhtar Donetsk Darijo Srna considers the midfielder of the Armenian National Football team and the Ukrainian Shakhtar Donetsk Henrikh Mkhitaryan to be an important football player for Shakhtar.

As reported by Armenpress, quoting the championat.com, the captain of the Pitmen touched upon the game Shakhtar (Donetsk) vs Chornomorets (Odessa). “Mkhitaryan is an important footballer for Shakhtar. We got used that he must always strike goals. But during this match the success was not at his side. We have proved for one more time that in the Ukrainian Championship we are the best”.

Shakhtar clinched the Ukrainian Cup for theninth time in their history. In the game Shakhtar (Donetsk) vs Chornomorets (Odessa) the Pitmen won the Ukrainian Cup final with the score 3-0.Shakhtar achieved success thanks to the goals fromFernandinho, Alex TeixeiraandTaison. Shakhtar won the Ukrainian Cup last year as well. In the current tournament the Pitmen achieved also the title of the Ukrainian Champion.
