National Assembly approved Government’s program

YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS: The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia completed the discussion of the Government’s program. As reported by Armenpress, the program of the Government was approved by 76 for and 41 against votes.

The NA deputy of the Prosperous Armenia Party faction Tigran Urikhanyan declared that the Party votes against the Government’s program.

On May 20 the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan presented the new program of the Government, which will enable to considerably increase the pensions, provide health services in any community, widen their range and continue the deposit compensation programs.

The representatives of different factions in the National Assembly in their speeches qualified the program to be non-realistic in the settlement of the current problems and in the implementation of the further steps in the economic development of the country.
