Edward Nalbandyan presented Armenia’s foreign policy priorities at House of Lords

YEREVAN, MAY 21, ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan is currently in the United Kingdom with an official visit. In the framework of the visit the Minister met with the representatives of the House of Lords. As Armenpress was reported by the Department for Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, the London agenda of Edward Nalbandyan included as well meetings at the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The Armenian MFA met with the Spokesperson of the House of Lords Frances D'Souza. The meeting was attended also by the member of the House of Lords, the Chairperson of the British ArmeniaAll-Party Parliamentary Group Caroline Cox.

During the talk the interlocutors discussed the Armenian-British Parliamentary cooperation and highlighted with satisfaction that during the last years the ties have become more active. By the request of the Spokesperson of the House of Lords Frances D'Souza, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan presented the priorities of the Armenia’s foreign policy and the role of the Armenian Diaspora in the development of Armenia.

The Foreign Minister Nalbandyan met with the Head of the British delegation in PACE Robert Waters and discussed the priorities and programs of the Armenian chairmanship at the European Council.

At the British Parliament the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs met with the members of different parties.

During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the Armenian-British cooperation, the Armenia-European Union relations and the Armenia’s approaches to the regional issues settlement.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan presented to the British Parliament members in details the implemented efforts of Armenia and the international community in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict issue.
