Issue of lonely elephants to find its solution in Yerevan's and Georgian zoos

YEREVAN, MAY 17, ARMENPRESS. The Delegation of the Tbilisi Zoo will pay a visit to the Yerevan Zoo on May 17. The Yerevan Zoo informed "Armenpress" that the Coordinator of the Animal Issues in the Tbilisi Zoo Georgi Darchiashvili, Deputy Director for Scientific Issues Davit Takhtakishvili, and member of EAZA experts' group on elephants Tobias Doghnbush have been included in the delegation. Tobias Doghnbush also held classes in the Tbilisi Zoo few days ago.

The Official of the Cloven-Hoofed Animals Department of the Yerevan Zoo Yulya Hakobyan also participated in those classes.

Within the framework of the visit, Tobias Doghnbush will hold a consultation regarding the issue of the improvement of the elephants' protection. The issue of lonely elephants of the Yerevan Zoo and Georgian zoos will also find its solution in future.
