11 athletes to introduce Armenia in European Sambo championship

YEREVAN, MAY 17, ARMENPRESS. The European Sambo Wrestling Championship will be held in Crema, Italy, on May 17-21.

Sambo Federation of the Republic of Armenia informed "Armenpress" that the 11 athletes, which will introduce Armenia at the upcoming European championship are as follows: Kirakosyan Tigran (52 kg, Vanadzor), Balasanyan Sose (52 kg, Artsakh), Mkhitaryan Mkhitar (52 kg, Spitak), Khachatryan Gayane (60 kg, Yerevan), Antonyan Arsen (62 kg, Armed Forces), Vardanyan Vachik (68 kg, Armed Forces), Nasibyan Mavrik (74 kg, Artsakh), Danielyan Ashot (82 kg, Artsakh), Gigoryan Davit (90 kg, Artsakh), Arakelyan Hakob (100 kg, Yerevan), and Mkrtchyan Artyusha (+100 kg, Armed Forces). The Armenian delegation will also comprise trainers Vovik Khojayan and Ernest Mirzoyan, judge Edward Aslanyan, and Chairman of Sambo Federation of Armenia Levon Hayrapetyan.
