SCPEC engaged in the issue of rise in price of air tickets

YEREVAN, APRIL 8, ARMENPRESS. The State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia is currently engaged in the issue of the rise in price of air tickets. As reports "Armenpress" the Chairman of the State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition Artak Shaboyan stated this while introducing the annual plan of activity for 2013 during the April 8 session of the 5th convocation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

Among other things Artak Shaboyan noted: "There was information in the media saying that certain air companies have raised the price of air tickets, and yet in the morning I gave necessary orders to take care about that issue."

According to him they are presently engaged in the research of the aviation issues together with the World Bank in order to realize clearly the present problems of the aviation sphere.

In turn, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan also touched upon the issue of the rise in price of air tickets and suggested Artak Shaboyan to find a swift solution of the aforesaid issue.
