YEREVAN, APRIL 3, ARMENPRESS: Hayak National Cinema Awards jury, headed by the film critic Davit Muradyan, by closed voting selected the pretending films in 15 nominations on April 2. 48 films were submitted to Hayak Awards, 6 from abroad and 42 – from Armenia. As Armenpress was informed by the representative of the National Cinema Center of Armenia Ruzanna Bagratunyan, some changes had been made in the Awards nominations: three new nominations have been added - Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role and Best Foreign Film.

Best Film

«If Only Everyone» - Natalya Belyauskene, Vigen Chaldranyan, Maria Sahakyan, «The Voice of Silence» and “It’s not me”.

Best Director

«The Endless Return» - Harutyun Khachatryan, «The Voice of Silence» - Vigen Chaldranyan, “It’s not me” – Maria Sahakyan.

Best Cinematography

«The Endless Return» - Vrezh Petrosyan, Suren Tadevosyan, «Garegin Nzhdeh» - Mkrtich Malkhasyan, “It’s not me” – Mkrtich Malkhasyan.

Best Screenplay

Harutyun Khachatryan, Mikayel Stamboltsyan, Tereza Varzhapetyan, Mikayel Poghosyan, Maria Sahakyan, Astghik Simonyan for  «The Endless Return», “It’s not me” and «If Only Everyone».

Best Art Direction

«Wandering» Armen Ghazaryan, «Winter Apple» - Armen Ronov, Igor Livshits, Tigran Bodjukyan, «It's not me» - Victoria Lamshina.

Best Composer

«Wandering» - Aram Sukiasyan, «If Only Everyone» - Vahagn Hayrapetyan, «It is not me» - Polina Nazaykinskaya, “The Voice of Silence” – Gari Kyosayan

Best Leading Actress

Best Actress in a Supporting Role

Best Leading Actor

«Poker on the Rules of Love» - Hovhannes Azoyan, «It's not me» - Evgeni Tsiganov, «Garegin Nzhdeh» -Shant Honhannisyan.

Best Actor in a Supporting Role

«If Only Everyone» - Karen Jangirov, «Poker on the Rules of Love» - Artashes Aleksanyan, «Garegin Nzhdeh» -Khoren Levonyan.

Best Short Film

«Hunting» - Arman Chilingaryan, «February 19» - Tamara Stepanyan, «My Little Prince» - Armen Ronov, «A Village Rhapsody»- Artak Paytyan.

Best Documentary

«We Exist» -Armen Khachatryan, «The Endless Return» - Harutyun Khachatryan, «Donkeymentary» - Arman Eritsyan.

Best Animation Film

«Secret of the Dragon Carpet» - Gayane Martirosyan, «Ballet» - Naira Muradyan, «Quantum jump» - Hayk Sahakyants.

Best Debut

«The Pheasant Hunter» - Marine Zakaryan, «The Clay Man» - Aren Vatyan, «The Woman» - Arshak Zakaryan.

Best Foreign Film    

«Here» - Braden King, «The Silence of Peleshyan» - Pietro Marchello, «White Tiger» - Karen Shakhnazarov.

All the pretending films will be shown at Nairi Cinema by the day of the Awards Ceremony. The winners will be known at the Ceremony to be held at Aram Khachaturian Philharmonic Concert Hall on April 28.
