Russian Government approved agreement on military technical cooperation with Armenia

YEREVAN, MARCH 20, ARMENRPESS. The Government of the Russian Federation approved the program of the agreement on military technical cooperation with Armenia and ordered the Federal Military Technical Service to launch negotiations with Armenia for signing the document. As reports "Armenpress" citing "Ria-Novosti", the program stipulates the order of providing military production.
Among other things the agreement provides transfer of production without issuing licenses. In accordance with the abovementioned agreement Armenia and Russia will be obliged to protect the intellectual property rights of each other.
A number of issues regarding the bilateral military technical cooperation have been touched upon during the March 12 meeting of the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, which was held within the framework of the Armenian President's official visit.
