YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 27, ARMENPRESS. There are certain moments and seconds, which leave eternal trace in the history. And also there are certain people, who witness those moments and change the course of history, in this case the course of the Armenian football’s history.

"Armenpress" continues introducing new details about the brilliant victory of "Ararat 73". The heroes of those days and the witnesses of the glorious triumphs of the team tell us about them, as if they happened yesterday.

Nikolay Ghazaryan was born in 1947 and played as a forward. He is a master of sports. Ghazaryan played for Yerevan's "Ararat" since 1969 in the tournament of group "A" of the USSR and in the higher league. He won the cup of the country and golden medal of the USSR championship. He was a member of the junior and youth teams of the USSR. He participated in 229 matches and scored 49 goals.

- 40 years have passed since ''Ararat 73''. But our people remember that all as if everything happened just yesterday. Do You have the same impressions?

- Yes, I guess. I have the same impression. As we were a very consolidated team, we became a very "sweet" collective as well, we all knew that we are doing the same job, and we did not approach that all as individuals. Sometimes I resemble our games with the matches of modern Barcelona. Today Barcelona is playing like we did in past. We used to play a collective game like them, in those days. One can only recall the mere fact that we had no defeat for three years.

- Who is Your favorite modern football player?

- I like Mkhitaryan very much. To my opinion he deserves great future. I was close with his father Hamlet Mkhitaryan, of holy memory. We used to meet with Hamlet Mkhitaryan very frequently. He was in his right place on the grass. We both played in the same position. He always asked for advice how to play in various situations.
