"Counterpart International" has greatly contributed to the improvement of community infrastructure in Armenia: Armenian Deputy PM
YEREVAN, NOVEMNBER 2, ARMENPRESS: "Counterpart International Armenia" launched conference entitled ''Public Dialogue and Community Development'' on November 2-3. The goal of the conference was to present intermediate results of civil society and local self-government bodies assistance four-year project implemented by "Counterpart International'' financed by US AID.
A document on '' Further development of Armenian Republic local self government and strategic approaches of decentralization of the authorities '' was elaborated in the frame of 1, 5 year collaboration with Counterpart. The document is set to assist the Ministry to elaborate annual action projects, to serve a basis for the next steps for decentralization'' Armen Gevorgyan, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration came forth with.
In the words of the high ranking official ''Counterpart" programs are being implemented in all the Provinces of Armenia, in 43 rural places and urban communities. '' The projects launched in communities greatly contribute to the improvement of quality of life, and what is the most important to the establishment of trust and cooperation atmosphere, strengthening of civil society'' Minister underscored . In the words of Armen Gevorgyan, the cooperation with "Counterpart" is fruitful and productive and tangible refer to the working plans.
